Kenya’s mobile operator, Safaricom, expects a planned 12 billion shilling bond to launch in two weeks,so said its CEO a few days ago.The company is waiting for the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) to give it a go. Barclays Capital, Absa Bank and CFC stanbic are arranging the Safaricom issue
